ABOUT ME

 

I'm a Wife, Mom of 3. Nana of 8, been married 44 years since the age of 16 to the same man. I grew up on the east end of Long Island NY. Where my days in school were spent daydreaming the events of the Revolutionary War with spies and pirates using the island as a major drop off of supplies, and where three signers of the Declaration of Independence resided. Four years of researching that turbulent time of American History resulted in ON ANGELS WINGS. The first of my four part saga that includes THE ODYSSEY by Homer, with actual history interwoven with my characters you will love AND hate but never forget! Angels Wings is the name of a pirate ship that disguises itself to aid in the war for the colonists!

I now reside in NC with hubby of 44 years, grandson Aaron Hanak who designs my covers, a special note of my niece Jamie March Schoene my personal editor in NY, and also living happily ever after with us, 2 mini-pugs Dukey and Gellie. Where time is spent writing the last novel of this four part saga, THE WINDS OF JUNE

In case you're wondering how I can be a Nana and married 44 years by my picture. That is my Bussy. Who although only On Angels Wings is dedicated to her memory after a 9 year battle of brain cancer, all my work is just a tad of the inspiration, my Warrior Princess give me daily.
